So real talk, if it already pisses off your islamic family to dress up in cosplay why even keep the hijab and not opt for a long haired wig? It's not even your real hair. Seriously, if you live in the US wearing a hijab is by your own choice. It doesn't look good and again, a wig is just as modest.
I just really dislike people who feel the need to bring their religion into secular cosplay. I used to know a girl that would always wear cross necklaces even with cosplay and it was pretty fucking dumb.
And let's not kid ourselves, guys are going to be oogling coswhores in skimpy bikinis. They are not going to look at a modest cosplay and think it's impure.
