I'm the asshole that's been posting technical breakdowns of why Chainlink is practically useless.

Figured it couldn't hurt to do this the other way and make a thread for people to ask me any questions about Chainlink they may have. I suspect a lot of new holders are recent people who bought the bags of people who already knew it was a scam, and you may be curious why what you bought is worthless.

I'll try to be nice and answer questions honestly. I totally expect most conversation here to be dumb memes and shilling but why not try.

Bitcoin is a calculator app (Or Gold if you prefer to look at it that way), running on top of the Eth mainnet, with Link as the roads it will travel along to fulfill smart contracts.

When Bitcoin first launched as a network, all nodes were essentially KYC - all node operators mining on the network were known persons within the cypherpunk mailing list on Usenet, apart from Satoshi himself. Satoshi entrusted these people during the early stage of the network to test out and discover bugs - Hal FInney, the autistic NEET from Finland and some other proto-NEETs could have literally sybil attacked the entire network at the very start, but they didn't because they were invested in the project ideologically and wanted to see it succeed.

By doing this, you sell your LINK without dumping the price and not lose money due to slippage. Until now it was not available and selfish dumping was inevitable. This has held us back but isn't the case anymore. It's not in your interest to swing more than 20BTC on exchanges with barely any liquidity. Get an OTC price from Binance and they will give you a price and swap it out without affecting the price.

The second point I want to stress is to take control of your private keys. Binance is a reliable exchange but until mainnet launches we need to control for scarcity. If you want to keep some LINK for swing trades that's fine.
