the "job requirements" are never actually requirements, they are more like preferred qualifications. It's like the speed limit. Everybody speeds, and even though the speed limit on paper might be 60 mph, everybody goes faster because the real speed limit is closer to 70mph. It's the same with pretty much any job, they post the job, they want someone with a certain set of requirements, but they always settle for someone without all those "requirements".

You should lie on your resume, saying you have more experience/school than you really do. The biggest factors in almost any job, is nepotism and social atmosphere. So, even if you are perfectly qualified, if you are interviewed at an office where the manager is a 49 year old lady who has 3 cats, and you are a 29 year old guy who is unattractive and short and you have a reserved, conservative way of speaking, you might not get hired. That's just how it works, instead of thinking about what qualifications you "need", think about what the employer will be moved by you saying or doing. Interactions with people always come down to this. Now, there are exceptions, if there is a real job, that really needs to be done the proper way, then they will have to get someone based on skill alone. But those jobs are 1 in a million
