Basically there are 2-3 countries buying crypto which show this isn't even a blip if this really gets going.

Japan the real MVP and they don't bother with most of the scammy alts. Eurofags always complaining about Americans selling but they're hardly putting any money into crypto. Koreans gambling with alts, heavy trade volume but not putting in a lot of new money.

Japan is ultrafucked m8. Negative real interest rates are pushing money into the most absurd speculative investments imaginable, i.e. crypto. You have been warned.

Sweden and Switzerland have much higher negative interest rates than Japan Anon. I don't think it's necessarily jumping into speculation. I think an important thing that bizarre and/or bad monetary policies do is make people question government manipulation of currencies and seek alternatives. Crytpo is obvious but also in Switzerland they just had a failed referendum to disallow all but the central bank to do fractional reserve banking (making money out of thin air).

Yeah but the Scandicucks still have it in their heads that real estate is a sound investment. The Japanese have watched their real estate values slow motion train wreck over the past twenty years.

I'm in Japan right now and most places aren't accepting Bitcoin due to June 18th laws going into effect. It's being heavily regulated right now. However right as you get to the big scramble light in Shibuya there's a huge billboard for Bitcoin payments so that's cool.

> Cringy Roger Ver marketing ≠ BCH Takeover of Tokyo

BCH volume in BCH/JPY is like $2.5 Million. Basically nothing. BCH volume as a whole is also anemic.

The reason BCH value is so high is that so much is still locked up and there are some miners who are holding on to newly minted BCH trying to drive the price up. If we get into a longer deeper bear market, they will capitulate. The dumping of BCH might be epic.

binance is crypto pairs only.
unless youre saying that japan only buys alts with btc on binance, without even touching alts with fiat for some unknown reason.
i think its more likely they dont trade alts that much.

yes, i think they buy BTC with their regulated alt exchanges, and then they use binance/kucoin/finex for alts because lower fees than their own alt exchanges and less regulation
i think that's more likely than japanese not trading alts for some unknown reason

if you really want to find out, dig public information released by exchanges in regards to the geographical distribution of the ips of their visitors
