I had a few late-thirties, early-forties coworkers once. One of them was a woman and she'd go on dates all the time. The guys would hang out and get a drink occasionally, they liked video games and Netflix shows. They were all pretty nice people, a few of them as coworkers were brainless though

ISTJ here although I can be talkative. Really hate the workplace they want you to act like your friends and professional at the same time. Go to far on either side and they ridicule you.

Ex 1 Really friendly to the point where I make quitting jokes and not needing this job in conversation. Learn later on that my supervisor finds it disrespectful. I have more potential than her probably why or because I'm her best worker and if I leave almost my entire workload becomes hers haha and she only gets paid like a dollar more than me in the office.

Ex 2 Behave serious and don't joke around (a few people act lile this and they get left alone which I'd prefer), boss gets upset and asks me what's wrong. Fucling roastie you can't have it both ways.

Fucking bullshit that degenerate bitch can fuck off. She wants me to be funny but within her limitations as well as professional. She wants a robot that does all her worl for her and acts as she pleases which does clearly want.

One of the major reasons I'd talk often was because of fear of getting fot not coming off nice/friendly. Next workplace if I do have another job after this one I have no intent of being chatty. Quiet and reserved and close to bare minimum on doing my workload. Chatty, nice, and hardworking has made me their mule. The guy who they go to for help and asking me to do their stuff. At this point they will likely see me as an asshole if I say no and not change my mind.
