Why do people have faith in this. I never looked into it but this team will be so late to the game when it does release.

The current theme of blockchain has been Dapp platforms like ETH NEO ZIL, ect.

In 2019-2020 the theme may move on to other areas such as tokenizing assets, ect.

>>9894352
>>9894365
This is also pretty irresponsible of the team to be honest.

/biz/ and /pol/tards can't handle the fact they have one tranny developer and that alone keeps them skeptical on ADA despite them having easily the most sophisticated and qualified dev team.
nice low price for accumulators to continue catching up with the japs

super undervalued compared to most of these permissioned protocols masquerading as a distributed network or blockchain.

precisely i believe most of the explosive growth in crypto will be ultimately from countries that have the highest populations of unbanked individuals and will see their economies vastly improved as blockchain technology proliferates.

there are over 3 BILLION people who do not have access to modern financial institutions.

cash societies that limit commerce, innovation, and trust.

i grew up in third world countries a good portion of my life to parents who were UN diplomats.

these places are genuine shit holes because of the lack of any formal financial infrastructure or perhaps the western / rothschild banking syystem intentionally exclude them so they remain, "high risk" "high interest paying" countries.

Big head start on "sharding"; Ethereum is planning on implementing sharding as well but they are way behind

Straight from their whitepaper

> The cornerstone in ZILLIQA’s design is the idea of sharding — dividing the mining network into smaller consensus groups called shards each capable of processing transactions in parallel. If the mining network of ZILLIQA is say 8000 miners, ZILLIQA automatically creates 10 sub-networks each of size 800 miners, in a decentralized manner without a trusted co-ordinator. Now, if one sub-network can agree on a set of (say) 100 transactions in one time epoch, then 10 sub-networks can agree on a total of 1000 transactions in aggregate. The key to aggregating securely is to ensure that sub-networks process different trans-actions (with no overlaps) without double-spending.

but they weren't americans anon
cardano was sold to japanese in japan when it was still brand new
that's why there's so many ADA (25 billion): because it was initially traded against the yen, of which it takes ~100 to equal a dollar. turn that into dollars it's 250 million ADA total.
many nips probably have 250k+ ADA that they got for 1c apiece, just sitting in a retirement account somewhere.
