Popular brokers for stock trading:
What are you long on? What are you short on? What's your plan?

Robinhood
>commission free and no minimum to open
http://www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

Interactive Brokers
>$1 commission per 100 shares. $10k minimum to open, $3k if 25 or under. Lowest margin interest. Free API access

TD Ameritade
>$6.95 commission per trade. No minimum to open. Fantastic data/charting through their free ThinkorSwim service

Shorting is the only way to make money in Crypto now. Shorting literally is the new paradigm of crypto. I’m going to spread this on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube everything everywhere. Everywhere and everyone, Short short short short short short!!!!! Short to -$0 !!! Until not even 1 penny is left and then the BTC ceo will owe me money :) Did you not hear that everyone is shorting now? Omg like shorting is brilliant! BTC will ofc go down forever. You didn’t think that it would stop going down did you? Didn’t you hear? $5k by end of minute, $4k by end of hour, $1k end of day, and triple digits back to sub $100 end of week!! Shorting is the best way to success!! I’m writing a book on shorting. Shorters, bears and bitmex foreverrrrrr and everrrrre!!! <3 xoxoxoxoxoxox hey guys do you like shorting? Because I like LOVE shorting! Omg I love shorting so much! I love talking about shorting the market and how much of a genius I am for posting brilliant ideas about being a silly bear and shorting hehe! I love it how shorting is backed by technology too. Shorting is a new paradigm! I’ll short forever and everrrr ;) Ive been shorting BTC this whole time. I’ve been teaching others and I’ve gotten my neighbors and coworkers into shorting the market and we are all making a lot of money together shorting BTC and Ethereum. I’m really popular now among my friends because I’m making so much money from shorting the market, a lot of them are making accounts in bitmex now because of me. I can’t wait for this bear market to continue for the next 5 years until I have enough money from shorting to buy a house and hopefully a nice car. Shorting is the best guaranteed way to make money in the longterm

Weed gonna trade sideways real good tomorrow.

I have been waiting with some reserve cash for Namaste Technologies to get their sales license. It was supposed to go through late last month but so far squat. That thing will run pretty hard once they're licensed to execute their whole business plan but it's likely going to be pretty bearish until then, thus the reason i have no shares at this time. Very popular stock to short as their CEO is a hipster and their plan is pretty high risk. Basically they want to be a weed and weed accessories online retailer without actually growing the stuff themselves.

Looking to buy a nice small-mid cap growth semiconductor stock. Currently looking at two communications/iot chip companies:

AQ
pros:
-chips have exposure to multiple industries, automotive, data center, entero
-good meme potential, fast growing company
-finances moving towards profitability
Cons:
-currently not profitable
-public for less than a year
-job postings show engineering outsourcing to asis

QTNA:
pros:
-sells solutions, not just chips
-profitable (PE ratio ~21)
-high performance chips (from what I can tell with my limited engeering knowledge)
-good financials/growth 20% YOY
Cons:
-wifi sector is easily disrupted
-heavily dependant on a few markets

I'll be looking for more semis, I'm open to non-meme suggestions

IP I bought because it's been rather stable and I figured corporations and etc are always going to need paper products. I was considering WM for the same reason but it's been slowly bleeding for a while now so it turned me off.

dumb strategy

understand the market is relative.

If you get stocks that are good you will still beat the avg of the market which is your only goal. If you get fucked by a market crash you just have to wait for it to recover.

Some cash on the sideline is fine though and with it you will outperform the market in the case of a crash by buying low.

You basically don't understand how this works if you are on the side lines 100% waiting for a crash you have no capability to time.

Netflix has a super AI algorithm that analyzes viewing habits. This super AI gives them an impossible to surmount lead in content creation capability. That's why they spend way more than anyone else on content.

The super secret viewing habits technology is something no one has ever thought of or done before. Focus groups? Ratings? MEANINGLESS

Does netflix share any of this information with content creators? NOPE. It's only for them, they won't even tell creators how many views their content gets.

By keeping it all to themselves they can create better content by spending much more than everyone else.

This all makes sense if you have 120 IQ or lower.
