Obviously it is. You really think people write out paragraphs of FUD and make endless threads about “deluded” Linkers to help us out? No. They just don’t want us to make it.

/biz/ has a knack of finding the absolute cream of the crop and then completely shitting on it to make sure newfags don’t find out it’s an incredible opportunity. Just buy all the Link you can and hold for a few years.

only thing that's different is that the ethereum team has the brightest minds in crypto working on it, whereas chainlink has sergey, who's not even a programmer.

And that doesn't include that fact that eth was 10x ico price after like 1 month or something.

People used to fud the ETH tech, because it was revolutionary.

People fud the link team, because they are incompetent and deliver nothing.

This fucking sorcery is going to cannibalise a whole bunch of bubbles that are on the horizon. While the brainlets play amongst the Chinese hustle, the true marines are battling in the trench. Price means nothing for now, link will moon and most of the tards will go on believing it's a meme. This is good, they don't deserve it and they won't get it until it's too late. People say that this is all too easy, but it isn't, og bitcoiners and ethereum investors know that this shit isn't easy and everyone says if I had, I heard about it, I had some on my hd. But the point is they didn't, leave the kids to there shiny toys while you grab the one true digital token, grab it and hold on for dear life because in a few years it's going to be the difference between making it or continuing to be a sad sack of shit working for Mr shekelmister dreaming of what could have been.

>LOL
You are wrong about link. There's no way it's the next ETH. And I'd be willing to bet something serious LINK will never reach $1,000 as $100 is complete delusion. The dots are invisible to anyone in the real world which is ironic seeing link is supposed to get real world data onto the blockchain. Nobody will mention ChainLink by name and there's no way NDA's are in play when this is an open source community driven project. I'm so certain you guys are wrong about LINK because I know you can only be right so many times before you're wrong once. Bitcoin, ETH, Antshares, and even Raiblocks was being shilled at cents on the dollar and hit $32. You would be an idiot to believe that LINK will be success yet again. Law of averages, you're bound to all be wrong this time. It's unfortunate because it would be quite the story.

Can someone explain this pic related. Is the guy right? He seems wrong. It's 50/50 for 1 toss as in the 100th toss and over infinity tosses it will be the closest to 50/50 right?

lmao retards. each additional toss has no impact on the probability of the next toss, they're independent events, so he's correct. this is literally one of the first things you learn in probability. the probability that a coin toss lands on heads eleven times in a row is extremely small (0.5)^11 = 0.000488 (this is the scenario that you're imagining), but the probability of each individual toss landing on heads is still 0.5, so the eleventh coin toss independently has a 0.5 probability of coming up heads.

on what, the fact that it doesn't provide a useful oracle? this isn't debatable, its how chainlink works, it's only capable of pulling from one centralized source, and tacking on a "decentralized network" to try and reduce people providing bad data, which is already a solved problem if the website you're pulling data from uses https, it's how the internet works.

even market based oracles have massive problems, but at least they get closer to a "true" oracle, which is unbiased unsourced truth you can rely on. a json feed is neither of these things, and is already something people are using today as oracles, without chainlink as a middleman

You're right anon, and you are extremely intelligent. It isn't token fundamentals which will dictate the success of the token, it's your asinine evaluation of it based off of "well you guys have to be wrong after being right 3 times." Well done, my little 40 IQ trooper.

it isn't even fundamentals, plenty of shitcoins in the top 10-20, but chainlink doesn't have any speculators, volume, or interest.

it's a terrible long term hold for the reasons outlined in this thread, but an even worse speculative bet because nobody cares.

I know that I am in the company of absolute retards when cryptos are judged based on normie fomo attention and volume in a bear market for a completely antihype token. Apparently it is a terrible long term hold even though it finds itself surrounded by and speaking at events for some of the biggest companies in fintech, but we should disregard this because it doesn't have a faggot like Sun tweeting whenever he is on the same continent as a guy who talked to a GS banker once.

>> No.9846218

>>9846160
only none of those things are happening, chainlink is never going to be used by banks, or funtech as a whole, because it doesnt solve the problem they're trying to solve.

you can list all those bagholder dreams off all you want, but the fact is chainlink has nothing to show for itself, and anybody holding it even since ico missed out on the huge bull run every other coin had.

Wow, that explains everything. You're not just a regular retard, you're a retard who doesn't even understand the oracle problem.

nothing i've said has or can be refuted. speculative performance of chanlink is abysmal, especially through the massive pump the whole market had in nov-jan.

the tech, again, arguing about it doesn't change that the tech is bad and solves nothing we haven't already had solutions for. they're spending all their time working on this "decentralized network" part of chainlink because they can't actually solve the oracle side of it.

it's amusing that you would accuse me of not understanding oracles, when you clearly don't, especially when you and everyone like you tries to summarize it down into the "oracle problem". it's like calling bitcoin a solution to the "blockchain problem".

and as for interest, if it wasn't for 4chan turning chainlink into a meme and amassing thousands of bagholders, you literally wouldn't hear a word of it on here, just like you don't hear a world of it anywhere else. just let that sink in.

Oracles can provide a "DNS" like service of sorts and relay you the valid public key of the API you're trying to contact, and then you send your request with your public key (encrypted with the APIs public key, so only they can decrypt it), it's essentially how https works.
