Indicators don't work because they do their magic using price action and volume, which you can see just as quickly as anyone else. They don't tell the future.

Every indicator is a lagging indicator. There is no Holy grail of indicators, they all work better hindsight. Just learn how to read price action and volume and you will be 1 step ahead
