Unfortunately we have seen from past experience the team does not do to well in the face of difficult questions. Like what happened with the TM refusal, they very blatantly ignored any questions about it in slack and Telegram.
There is a strong chance this will be ignored as well, but I would urge all link holders to watch their reaction to this one, this is a legitimate concern on why nothing is being tested. Is it broken? Is no one interested?

My 2 LINK on this based on my professional experience working with large entities in a consultancy manner. Anyone who're they're working with will want to see the solution proven and working before they start spending the resource to facilitate any usage of the network. Considering the important on-chain mechanisms aren't done yet, which are the crucial piece to the puzzle, any large companies will want to see the main-net deployed and fully working.

They'll see the value proposition and they'll have an idea on how they'll use it, but it's critical for them to see it working before spinning up any internal teams/projects to work on it. Even with agile development, the large design, planning and estimation phases any company would have to go through will take a lot of time. Saying that, a lot of older institutions haven't really moved to agile methodologies in software development (even though they like to think they are). These things take time.

Not trying to fud but I have a serious concern with Chainlink. Chainlink has been on Ropsten for a month and everyone was expecting all these potential partners to test on the testnet. The team even told people to keep an eye on Ropsten to see the customers using the network. Well for 3 weeks the only transactions on Ropsten have been regular peeps taking the 100 Ropsten link from the faucet. There has been absolutely no requests for data. In fact, someone asked Thomas why and then Thomas made a run to show it works. Well I see Thomas's request for data but it is the only one.

Why is there no testing on Ropsten? Where are all these customers/partners/devs that are supposed to be drooling at the potential of Chainlink? I know the lack of communication, lack of updates from Sergey, lack of social media presence, increasing competition from large players are all red flags but this may be the largest.

Does anyone actually want to use Chainlink Network?

This is such a make or break moment for LINK. If customers are using private blockchains to test (which makes sense) then it adds credence to the magnitude of interest in the project.
