The coordinator is only a handicap, for now. If you knew how the tangle works you would know that it's near the point of not needing it, the coordinator is an easy way to cheap shot this project while people don't understand the basics of a DAG system. Anyway, 2 to 5 years and this will be used, no point about discussing non-sense at this point, since people here tend to insult instead of pointing REAL issues.

They could easily raised hundreds of millions of dollars by making Quibic another token and raise for an ICO. But they didn’t.This idea comes naturally to mind as this was done in a similar manner by other projects....

This is correct. It would be easy enough for IOTA to separate the data market, smart contract VM, and oracles into 3 DApps that run on IOTA. They could ICO the shit out of it and wash trade them up by liquidating the foundation's IOTA and fucking the holders of the core coin. Instead they aren't. The founders, who had to buy IOTA like everyone else, are putting all of this into the core technology.

It's on the initial stage, most of the crypto projects are vaporware and people are behind them 100%, this is not different in a sense that it's still really early to tell. But the FUD around IOTA is retarded overall, most people can't even define what a DAG is, and just regurgitate what other people write on other subs.
