A business is a machine designed to produce profit for it's investors. Employee profits are in fact losses. Yes boomers are guilty of some things such as:

-importing immigrants to increase demand for jobs and products
-farming out jobs
-shifting the burden of training employees from the employer to the employees themselves

, but these things were done simply to improve the efficiency of their machines.

Driving a bus from the resort to the National Park...am shift so I get to see the sun rise and chill with the moose. Used to hate the idea of wagecucking but desu it gives me purpose and structure. Plus I’ve got a cool social scene and I literally live 3/4 of a mile from the entrance to Denali National Park.

Even if I end up making it to six figures I’ll still do this job just because of the perks. On my days off I can get a standby seat on a plane that lands on a glacier or play golf for free in the midnight sun.
