why are people that bought crypto early always so insufferable?

is it because they realize wealth won’t cure their autism and they’ll be lonely no matter what?

I was in the scene from before BTC to 2011, it definitely wasn't only filled with the best and the brightest.

They're not. I bought in 2011, I keep a low profile, shut my mouth, watch and learn. I don't believe anybody that tells me they have been in this space a long time and learned absolutely nothing from it, unless they're obviously idiotic and were paying no attention at all.
None of this shit has happened before in all of human history, we don't know what comes next. We have hopes, fears, and theories, and we try to hone our theories avoid our fears and drive for our hopes.
The behavior in that image is a sign of someone who is actually stupid, lucked out, and now thinks they're a genius.

>Uses twitter

I don't know who the smartest person in the world is, but I promise you whoever they are they would either A) not be posting on the internet, or B) would not be posting on any site that isn't just anonymous nameless shit where you post and disappear.

The need for status, approval, recognition etc. is always indicative of 105-120 IQ.

>Missing my point entirely

A truly 'genius' person, the kind of person who simply exceeds all others, is the kind of person who can process so much information that they have fully internalised that there is no point seeking any kind of recognition or fame.

They would see life as a serious of obstacles between what they want and what they have, and almost algorithmically approach acquiring what they want. As for what they want it'd almost certainly be to satisfy deep internal desires, so they would want to eat good food, and live stress free, etc so they would find the most efficient route to wealth and then use that wealth to maximise their enjoyment of life.

They wouldn't even take an IQ test or have a conventional job. You won't ever know their name because they wouldn't want you to. Imagine if you were on a desert island surrounded by apes, would you try to earn the apes recognition and respect? Or would you simply manipulate the ones you encountered to give you what you want (lets say one ape has a food stash or something) and then fuck off back to your abode. Maybe look for the one or two other people on the island as smart as you.

Basically the smartest people in the world are probably sailing, and fucking and being rich, without anyone knowing who they are. Just developing and enjoying themselves and maybe looking for other smart people to have families with before dying. They aren't true nihilists, but more like social nihilists.

Just to clarify I'm not one of those fags trying to self insert into my own fantasy. I am nowhere like these people, I'm a loser NEET who just reads a lot of books.

High IQ people are likely to have good social skills. The turbo autist genius is largely a myth.

>> No.9552254

>>9552190
not all, some want to change stuff, or they invent something, or influence society in some way and become famous as a byproduct, doesnt make them any less intelligent. Its like saying Napoleon wasnt genius level cause he was the most famous person in that time period, which is retarded

>> No.9552262

>>9552204

I never said they didn't have good social skills, I said they don't seek to become famous. In fact they are extremely confident primarily because they aren't insecure or desperate for approval. Like I said super intelligent people are likely having fun and enjoying themselves, partying, becoming wealthy, and also developing themselves through healthy activities.

They aren't asslicking their way up the ranks of academia so one day they can be called 'Dr.' and they aren't giving TV interviews about their high IQ and their theory for solving the SM of physics.

>> No.9552409

>>9552254

Ok let me rephrase it, I more specifically meant if there was a SMARTEST person in the world. The way the guy in OPs pic implied he was, since that's the root of where this conversation started.

If there was a person with a transcendent IQ, like some evolutionary freak who's IQ was 600+, they wouldn't try to become famous or start a war or change anything. In the same way that you as a human wouldn't try to reform an ape society. I don't think people like this exist, but if they did we'd almost certainly never hear about them. I assume they'd keep a low profile by extrapolating what I understand about intelligence.

I think there are plenty of geniuses, Max Planck, Napoleon, etc. but I more meant if there were people like those self insert LARPers write on tumblr/twitter about how they understood general relativity at age 5, if those types of people actually existed, I don't think we'd ever know.

The CLOSEST example to this kind of IQ was Ted Kaczynski and he ended up living in a forest. But again he was probably autistic (which isn't mutually inclusive with genius) and also there's the whole Harvard experiment they did on him that probably fucked him up.

and what did this so smart dude accomplish?
the real geniuses, as i said, get famous either willingly or as a byproduct, its just inevitable, cause they actually accomplish stuff like inventions, science advancements, they become wealthy or become leaders, thats why they're known and there is a book written about every single one of them. These genius you talk about that remain in the shadows, their accomplishments are probably a fraction of the famous ones, and so is their genius.
>wouldn't try to reform an ape society
i think the genius impulse would be the contrary, they want to use their mind to alter & influence the world, otherwise what use is their genius?
you didnt really think this through, did you?
