I want to get peoples serious opinions about ICX and what they predict for it over the next 6 months. I know there is alot of bagholders who want to see price go up. It seems they have alot cooking behind the scenes and are set to possil be the public blockchain anchoring the korean economy. I know we are very early so it will take time, but price movement has been slow so people are getting pissed and anxious. I won't lie that even I get like this but i know this has solid long term potential. I especially like their architecture of being the public bridge between all the private blockchains to communicate with each other. It makes sense that institutions and business want private blockchains but will have to interact with public/open protocols, which is what ICON could potentially be. Also, I think the overall market is one of the reasons holding it back too.

Please share your thoughts besides the usual "gooked"

I HOPE and yes not EXPECT, I HOPE that token swap will be here before end of the month, but may take a few months. I hope that staking goes live soon as well. Roadmap was for april 2018 but now they postponed it to q2 2018.

Also expect a lot more dapps and partnership announcements.

As long as BTC doesnt absolutely shit the bed, even if it stays at 8k or so, I think ICX should get to at or near 10 dollars in a few months.

I don't think we'll see new highs unless one of two things happen:
1) btc hits new aths
and or
2) ICX mainnet starts being used for transactions in a live system.

I doubt #2 will happen until late this year at the very earliest, but when it does the demand for ICX will not only have organic growth, it will skyrocket from speculators seeing it actually being used.
Until that happens it's 100% a speculative play. When the organic growth creates the demand it will be much stronger and resistant to btc movement too.
