Salt is incredible. It looks solid on the surface, it has some good team members, but everyone who touch it get JUSTd beyond belief. You'd think it has to go up at some point, and then it proves you wrong. In my defense when I fell for it, the market was still going well, and I sold shortly after the January dip started, so I managed not to lose too much. When there was more optimism in the market, I could see a better future for it, but with the way that things are going, I'm not sure crypto backed loans are such a good idea. Plus of course, there's BEEECOONNNEEEEEEEEEEEECCT which gave lending platforms a bad name and that might have been part of what ended up hurting SALT as well (even though it's completely different). If SALT stays around, it has to be worth more than it currently is at at some point, but I won't be the one trying to guess the floor before it changes direction.

the main problem is that apparently they cannot issue loans for whatever reason unknown. I would suspect there are not enough lenders and SALT Lending is not being honest here. it could be that lendersndon’t want to risk getting in trouble before regulations confirm SALT and other cryptos are not in trouble. because there is no usage, the coin value deserves to be 3$

it will be interesting however, when the Altcoin collateral comes. placing SALT as collateral should be valued at 27.50$, effectively preventing volatility from liquidating your assets. that is, if SALT doesnt end in trouble meanwhile

They changed it to where you could pay off principle too, but only for a temporary time (which is still apparently active) probably just to burn tokens or to build hype. Unfortunately it was hard to get approved (and yes it was free money). But now no new loan signups are allowed so... Who knows.

SALT is involving credible people. It's a good idea (aside from there not really needing to be a token to run a crypto lending platform).
