What you gonna do when people realize that not only it makes sense financially to evade taxes but it also is the morally right thing to do to let money flow to the most competitive poorer places of the world instead of distributing it inside first world countries?

UBI is not only stupid, but also evil.

I don't think UBI is necessary YET, but it will be eventually ( perhaps 50 years ) as automation takes over both physical and cognitive tasks. The only answer that i can think of besides UBI is human augmentation, but again, in order for that not to result in a massive gap of skill between the augmented and unaugmented classes the augmentation must be socialized.

I am getting really tired of conservatards slinging around the word evil. Theatrical terms have no place in metaethics. Do you have a coherent and systematized moral system built from the ground up? Which of the three major normative theories does it draw from? Or do you just use logic and reasoning post-hoc to justify an intuition? It's usually the latter.

Im actually in favor of UBI but I think its going to come about from the private sector first through something like a currency/blockchain type of project created by someone extremely autistic. Like a decentralized exchange that just splits 100% of profit among its traders evenly already having KYC verified them as unique users.

Money taxed and redistributed in first world countries don't allow capital to flow where they are most needed and efficient perpetuating poverty in third world countries.

When the EU taxes companies and investors in order to fund things like the common agricultural policy (which accounts for half of the entire EU budget), it doesn't allow african producers to compete fairly in european markets perpetuating poverty in Africa.

Two things are converging here: the price of goods is lowering, and automation is taking more and more jobs ( and yes, creating less jobs to replace those that are destroyed). What other solution is there but UBI? ( and no, letting people starve is not a solution).

Are you postulating a john galt like exodus of people and capital out of countries that institute UBI? Perhaps that's a possibility. As i said, i don't think we need UBI yet, but it's certainly on the horizon.

>> No.9366251

I never considered UBI arising from the private sector. That would be interesting.

>>9366154
Have to save the world one step at a time. First, developed countries. Then, the third world will probably implement it. Tho automation will likely hit the third world pretty badly as well.

aka, crypto pyramid.

crypto people are just making their own UBI. makes sense. the gov will tax and expropriate the 1% and then use that as universal and unconditional UBI, simple. so we dont need to spend all our fake-day trading and just waiting for the whole rising tide.
