I am conflicted on Mike Rowe. He does advocate on people getting their hands "dirty" on blue collar/trade jobs, which boomer parents have looked down upon telling their children to only go for White collar jobs. He advocates for blue collar work, which is pretty cool.

....of course, his work isnt blue collar at all, and I dont think he ever worked blue collar. He's kind of treated as a hero for tradespeople, but he never did the work himself. Yeah he did Dirty Jobs but it was a TV show.
