>RFB is optional

How is a merchant supposed to react when they are given an RFB tx then?
"Hey sir, you'll have to wait 10-60minutes before we can give you your coffee."
"Wtf, why?"
"Well your bitcoin client has RFB enabled, so we need to wait for a block to be confirmed"
"Wtf is a block I thought this shit was supposed to be money?!"
"Sorry sir but you'll have to wait unt-"
"Listen here NIGGER! I SENT YOU BITCOINS FOR MY COFFEE! I WANT SOME COFFEE!!!"

You see how this can be cumbersome to the average user right?

>RFB (sic)
RBF is like paying with a cheque. Good luck clearing that in 10 minutes with an untrusted party.

People will learn to turn off RBF.

Nobody pays with cheques anymore GRANDPA. And the average consumer doesn't want to learn shit. They should be able to download an app on their phone and send and receive money instantly. If they can't do that they'll stick with credit cards and Jewish banks.

Then they should download the app that makes the money go fast, not the one that makes the money take a while.
