i quit smoking weed a couple of days ago. 9 years and then one day i just came to the realization that i do not enjoy it at all anymore. this was the first 4/20 this decade that i was sober. im glad i stopped.

but only just a little. the fact of the matter is girls are never "single." they line up the next guy while their current relationship winds down so there's never a big gap period in between relationships. this is why when you break up with them, they absolutely lose their shit. they're so used to monkey branching from guy to guy that when you disrupt their roadmap they get fucking pissed. so, since she shut you down, that's a signal she's already branched out to the next in line.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic or say there's no hope either. the only way to get with the girl is to become the next monkey branch and destroy the other monkeys.

are you me? i just quit after 8 years almost to the day. tried drinking on 4/20 instead and had the worst fucking time. i guess im sober now and can focus on improving my personal life and my relationship with my wife. i literally could not have done it without you /biz/
