In all seriousness, they are. What's worse is they aren't even worth the pennies they pay them. They're so inorganic and obvious it's pathetic. Not sure how they still have jobs.

just follow the volume. bcash fits into the same niche as other hyped chinkcoins fit into. take a guess where the majority of the volume for all of those are too.

I'm opening a retail store, and as a business why would I ever accept BTC when its fees+delays can suddenly skyrocket? We will only accept BCH... it's naturally what businesses (adoption) will go to.

Literally hilarious to see how every such thread resorts into Bitcoin Cash supporters trying to debate on point, while Bitcoin supporters never talk about the tech and just resort to memes+insults.

pretty sure it's the other way around, when I got involved with Bitcoin. it was considered a peer to peer cash system and now it's a "store of value".

who wants to talk tech about a coin created by miners for their own interests, and hijacked by salesmen?

>> No.8977088

>>8977074
a miner centralized coin, which now wants to get rid of user nodes, and inflating the bandwidth, processing, and storage requirements, is not "peer to peer", which, by the way, is explicitly the most important part of "peer to peer cash".

and just try to find out why bcash didn't fork away from the clearly broken proof of work that has been violating 1 cpu = 1 vote for years now, yet they still love to talk about "centralization" as if they're solving it. funny the one clear and undebatable failure of bitcoin wasn't even considered in a fork, i wonder why

Same. In 2011 on the bitcointalk forums (located on bitcoin.org at the time), the main consensus was peer to peer cash. People used to freak out if any bitcoin service attached any sort of fee to any transaction because the idea was its better than the existing system due to decentralized, so small its essentially no fee to send a tx, non-reversible.

>low fees for all those self interested miners

You're half right though. Miners want a coin that can actually scale so when billions of people use it the fraction of a cent fee from everyone adds up.

yeah, swallow those good messages brought to you by bitmain, who of course, was busy immediately abusing the mining algorithm that conveniently broke satoshi's protection against minority forks, so they could extract as much value as possible.
