Popular brokers for stock trading:
Robinhood
>commission free and no minimum to open
http://www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

Yesterday at close BAC had potential to reverse, though it was still in downwards trend at open. It needed to be watched more closely Than WFC. Can I get some help? I new to this shit. So I opened a RobinHood account. It says they deposited two small amounts into my account and I need to verify it but when I check my drafts I don't see anything. I am with EECU(CA). Thanks senpai. I've read their Help Center but I think I am over thinking.

I use the HA candles for estimating the next, IE hammer, hangman, engulfing. HA smooths out alot of noise. It's about trend reversal for me mainly. Doji & spinning tops are the patterns I look for the most.

I use the clouds to find resistance and support. When support or resistance breaks it is very likely to continue the trend in whichever direction until a the next cloud is hit. When trading within the cloud I wait for rejection or break. IE hitting the top of the cloud or bottom and bouncing multiple times or breaking through and sitting on top. I check the 1 min 5 min 15 min 1 hr 4hr & 1d, 1wk & 1mnth if I really need to, as time progresses. When cloud forecast switches it is a good indicator of future action.

I'll try to explain what exactly I'm looking at, will mark & such, when posting charts in the future.

You make calls when you expect prices to go up. When you purchase a call it's like you're making a down payment on a stock for a later date, but specifically at that price. Company Z is hot fire? It's worth $10 now but you think it's going to be worth at least $15 in 3 months? Well then you would purchase a call 3 months from now for about $15. If the stock is worth more than your 15 call you can sell it for $$$. If the stock is worth less than 15 after the date then your opinion is worthless and expired

not looking very good for either BAC or WFC tomorrow. No indication of trend reversal.

WFC might have a bounce in the morning based on RSI. I think we have a potential to see BAC hit its 200SMA1D this week.

BAC is above cloud for 1Wk, 1Mnth, below for rest.

WFC is above cloud for 1Mnth, resting on support, below for rest.

WFC breaking this support will likely result in a bleed down to lead 2.

SPY managed to hang on above support. However, cloud conversion & an increase in divergence do not bode well, and indicate a bearish trend. Expect a rocky, indecisive day tomorrow.

DOW failed to break resistance & seems to indicate a trend reversal, heading down.

Expect downward MACD cross for both.

SPY & DOW are both trading above cloud for weekly & monthly. Monthly MACD & RSI are indicating overbought. SPY is in a downward trend for monthly.

It's a down payment to later have the option to buy at that specific price. So you pay, say, 2% now and you have the option to buy the stock later or sell the option-to-buy to someone else. In this example if you didn't sell the option-to-buy to someone else, sand the day off judgment has come, if the stock price is less than $15 you lose your investment. If the price of the stock is $13 no one will want the ability (option) to buy at 15. And the difference in prices is great enough that you wouldn't want to exercise the option because you'd be buying for more than it'd be worth.

I had a longer response for you but clicked out the box & hit backspace on accident, removing what I wrot e:( FML.

Daily, it is failing to break resistance. It will probably test it again tomorrow, if SPY stays above it's own support.MACD & RSI are approaching overbought, and MACD will likely downcross by EOW. Will likely reverse trend if it fails to break the resistance this week. Cloud conversion & trading below cloud.

Weekly, it is in an upward trend with no indication of reversal. Trading above cloud.

Monthly, it is in an downward trend with a cloud conversion being the only indication of a reversal. RSI & MACD indicate overbought, with a MACD downward cross likely to occur.

I think the most opportunity for gain is buying at/near open, selling when it tests resistance. Look to SPY, companies like V for guidance if it trades in the cloud on when to buy, and if it has the potential to break top of cloud resistance.

Oh boy. I was watching a weekly news and Q&A live show the CEO of Namaste Technologies hosts this afternoon and there was a something something rumor something he said right at the end that caught my ear. Sean Dollinger, the CEO, said, "watch out for an amazing press release tomorrow morning". Dollinger is a bit of a hype man so I take anything he has to say regarding "amazing" things with a healthy dose of salt, however, he rarely gives specific date and time like that.

Seems to me the most likely news is an uplisting to the TSXV from the CSE. Only other thing he'd hype up this much is completion of their cannabis sales license, but from what I am aware, they're closer to 2-3 weeks out from that becoming official.

Anyway. If the news is as good as Dollinger seems to indicate it is, the stock is going to pump pretty hard at open tomorrow.

Well, there are no free brokers here I think. Since I am still new, I would just purchase NZ stocks first before expanding my portfolio outside NZ.

So, the biotech sector only recently stood to retake valuations from the 2015 era (one of the most notorious recent bubbles that popped, strongly recommend you guys look up 2015 biotech bubble and read some stories) We had a tremendous degree of advancement in the field, along with earnings almost doubling from that year to now.

Are these valuations a bubble once more? I feel skeptical of a serious bear market occuring at pre bubble valuations in 2018, but broad market vol’ is pretty serious threat.

really? so they really were just being a bunch of cunts and trying to flex their power? fuck that. although i have to laugh whenever i hear normies comment on him, they always say something to the effect of "im so glad he went to prison, i cant believe he hiked the price of AIDS medicine", despite him going to prison for something else entirely. his move with the medicine hike was an absolutely industry-standard move, and the fucking medicine was NOT AIDS medicine. normies just hate him because he is baitmaster, and his smirk is triggering enough to tear down whole countries. we should bust him out desu

It is running on monthly support, so it will depend on what happens. I'll probably close my put near bottom of cloud if it breaks through. Even with it dropping so much I'm a little skeptical that it will drop over $10/Share to 40.97 (bottom support), so I'll probably just be riding it and watching for trend reversals. To get that low I really think we would need to see the subprime shit they've been loaning blow up in their face, again. At that point though I think just about everything will have a dip.

oh Lord have mercy

only WFC looks worst.

Bearish trend, HA indicating downward trend. RSI & MACD indicating overbought, divergence decreasing, MACD downward cross incoming. Cloud did convert, which is a bullish signal, but as it is trading in red cloud and it is a weak indicator. Supports @ 2.55 (200SMA1D), 2.09 (Cloud Support).

Weekly is in upward trend but HA indicates reversal. Cloud conversion indicating bearish trend, though it is currently trading above cloud, see above. Support 2.27 (Cloud), 2.09 (200SMA1D). Divergence decreasing, MACD upward cross may occur.

I'm not touching the monthly.

Recommending shorting this one, doesn't seem like it will reverse into an upward trend. The cloud conversion on the daily is due to the pump it received.

Crypto was my first intro to /biz/ last summer and started trading on the market last month. Of the two, learning the stock market has been a lot more rewarding due to the amount of new things I learn from /smg/ and researching on Investopedia and Ameritrade. Also maintaining a sleep schedule to start at the opening bell makes me feel like I'm working for something and not a NEET. Also this market's gains are nice and steady, crypto is schizophrenic.
