Buying and holding at every price. Speculating with 2% of my stack. Haven't touched an altcoin since fether coin

hnggg mirin, I honestly wish I had done the same. I have lost MOST of the btc I originally purchased in 2013 :(

by fucking with alts. So tempting, it looks so easy to profit! But actually I just lose sats all over the fucking place.

You can not fucking beat bitcoin in the end.

I came here before december 2017 and people called me an idiot because I didn't own any alts and I never bought any. I started buying btc in 2014.

Guess who's laughing now.

Yep, I'm really annoyed with myself. I got back into crypto last october/november and was adamant that I wouldn't touch alts again. I just bought more btc (and a bit of LTC, I admit). But then in late December I fell for the fomo and got deep into alts.

The result? I lost 80% of my sats. I have been trying to trade lately to get them back but it's really the hardest thing to do, perhaps emotionally. I normally just end up riding back down into a loss, each time.

Fuck. But I still can't bring myself to just sell everything to btc and wait for 100k.

people have been literally paid to shill altcoins. Not to forget the devs and discord admins who were hungry for new stupid money to pay for their lattes and penthouses. It is a dirty game, but once you get it, that bitcoin is the most secure network in every sense and most probably always will be as long as crypto exists alts become a joke or at most a short term way to avoid high fees when Jihan and his ilk spam the network again

anon that honestly sounds like a gambling addiction. try to stop. you probably feel the urge to get it all back, but that probably won't happen. cut your losses. if you must, place some in a conservative long term trade/hedge like ETH, XMR or EOS. avoid small cap shitcoins at all cost.

You can beat Bitcoin (and doom it, long-term), if your name is Blockstream.

You're not wrong - it has seriously affected my life, desu. I took huge risks in January and was extended deep into ICOs and shitcoins when the dump came. And I lost 90% of my fiat value - which was a huge amount, by the way.

I don't touch shitcoins, mostly stay in the top 20 unless something is up and coming and very hyped. I try to only buy things I won't mind holding if the trade goes south.

I am actually VERY good at picking entries and exits, as well as judging which coin to use generally. But, yes, due to my emotional issues I don't stick to my own advice. Ignoring exit plans and trying to see it go higher, say, then ending up with bags instead.

It's actually pretty easy to predict this market, especially since we all have good exposure to the hype and info that's driving it all. But sticking to a profitable plan is hard.I am genuinely quite addicted to green candles, I fear.

i dont own any- i mostly bought into ETH. but david seaman and some others seem to think that soros , rockefeller and rothschild have decided on btc as curreny even tho he originally argued that it would break their system

i have since 2015

Half my BTC value that I paid with green bills is to hold BTC, the other half is moved between BTC, highcaps, lowcaps and degenerate leverage gambling. When the second half grows part moves to the hold BTC group, when the second group shits the bed it has to fend for itself but after losing a 6% BTC value in a month it's forbidden to trade more that month. I don't know, it's grown, but definitely nothing worth writing a book about it, I find trading relaxing but I can't get consistent profits to live from trading or anything like that and fuck anyone who says it's easy.
