I like Mike Rowe, he's a good guy from what I could gather when I met him, but I think he is taking the wrong direction on this shit, he should be doing something like 21 Savage is doing, instead of preaching for people to go into a specific industry or earn their money a certain way, he should be teaching young people (15 to 25) how to handle money responsibly, and how to effectively live within, or below your means.
I'm not allergic to work, I've worked in some shitty jobs that wore my spine and legs down to the point I was taking aleve every day like a 60 year old logger, and doing that taught me WHY passive income/investing is so important, because 90% of people have a 25 year clock on their life once they retire, and those 25 years are plagued with health problems brought on almost EVERY SINGLE TIME by the work they did when they were younger.
