Hi /biz/,
I've never invested before.
I recently started working full time and have 4k - 5k USD to invest each month, starting two months from now. I have half that until then because I'm paying off debt.
I'm currently reading "The Intelligent Investor", by Benjamin Graham, revised edition (2006). Picked it up from my local library and just got past chapter 1. Learning a lot; for example, I never knew what "shorting" was until now!
I'd like to invest in something that earns interest. Compound interest is what I'm going for; I'm hoping I can save as much money as possible so that my investments' interest will outgrow my current income stream.
According to "The Intelligent Investor", at least at its year of publishing (1971), the market average sat around 7%. From other estimates I saw throughout the book, the numbers ranged from 6% to over 10%.
I listen to Dave Ramsey on the radio and he often recommends investing in mutual funds until an investor can buy their first piece of rental real estate.
Any advice / tips?

That's a chart yes
As you can see, you wouldn't be buying at the all time high which is good and the project is very promising
I suggest you to read the whitepaper and decide if you want to invest or not
Might wait a bit tho since the market is not done tanking yet so could potentially get in at a cheaper price
