Why you lying for? By the next few weeks the gains will be 500%+ on these contracts.

Im practicing on testbitmex and it seems kinda easy i mean you just have to look at the order book and you can easily say if BTC is going up or down, also btc goes daily from 8500 to 7700 at least, short when the daily dip starts and thats all

It's really only the people that go 100x leverage that get rekt. Bitmex is pretty solid otherwise

+7.5% will liquidate your NEO

I don't trade futures. Is there no way to short/long without taking out leverage? I feel like you could make tons of money shorting without leverage and without worrying about liquidation.

of course you can trade at 1x or 2x, /biz/zards are just greedy

>> No.8406624

>>8406539
you could leverage at 1x

or do 2-5x you wouldn't get liquidated unless it went up ten thousand in a day. obviously this 5x's your losses but you can cut them at 1%. dont trust stop losses always watch the market. take good risk-reward trades and have good discipline you should make profit only winning 50/50 if you let your wins run over +1%

How can i know how much im going to have of profits if i hit certain price etc? is there calculator for that?

If i have 800usd to short/long how much leverage should i be using?

>> No.8406690

>>8406642
So

10x meand you grt liquidated if it goes up 10% or down 10% because 10*10 = 100%

For 25x then 100/25%=4% means liquidated

50x then 100/50%=2%

You make leverage times %increase your(long) or %decrease (short)

>> No.8406772

>>8406642
It's not hard, if it goes up or down X dollars you win or lose X times your leverage, once you hit zero you're liquidated.

The amount of leverage you should be using depends on how much volatility you expect, it's a risk vs. reward tradeoff. High leverage means it's easier to squeeze you with a tiny manipulated market swing (and yes they will be doing that on purpose). So it's easy to lose everything, but when you win you win big.

use x25 or even more if you're certain that the coin has hit the absolute top/bottom and will reverse. I'm using x10 right now. I just found out about leverage trading and am trying it would with likr 0.08 BTC. Goiing to try and do x5 or more on these contracts.

Thanks guys and which indicators do you guys use? im just using the DepthChart, btc reversal seems to be at 8400 and 7700 or something like that

>> No.8406946

>>8406905
None, I use no indicators at all for my trading.
Looka t the charts for XMR, NEO, ETH, LTC and XRP. They are all going to collapse on a massive downtrend just like other altcoins.

Its much much easier to predict prices for altcoins than Bitcoin, so I do almost no trading on Bitcoin. Why trade on Bitcoin when its easier on altcoins.

Bitmex doesn't sell margin call numbers to whales for testbitmex so its worthless to 'practice' on.

>> No.8407198

>>8406946
Ok im going to look at them, i just don't have idea where the reversal maybe in those coins, so i would have to use low leverage and have my position open in a longer time right? because anyway they are going down

I was thinking about going with btc and just trying to surf the daily dip with more leverage

Bitmex is a bucketshop. You are INVISIBLE to them. They don't care to take your money.

When you start trading with $10k watch them manipulate the price to take your money
