They have plenty of videos on twitter/youtube explaining how it works from a technical point of view. Not gonna pretend I understand it in depth, but the TLDR is that websites are served by nodes. Nodes are incentivized to host these sites because they get paid to do so. Voila - decentralised web. Can't be banned since another node can be used to serve the site.
