I'm a super self-aware, shut-in, autist and I avoid ads like the plague, I torrent everything, use adblock, and despise advertising of all kinds, but I know I'm not normal in that regard.

Your regular "normie" fucking loves ads, they watch commercials, listen to the radio, many don't use adblock, and they make impulse purchases like fucking crazy. I can't remember the last impulse purchase I made, maybe 1-2 years ago I bought a funny t-shirt or something but besides that I only buy the absolute essentials.
