The remaining BTC can't be touched until the bankruptcy proceedings against Karpeles personally has been settled. The proceedings against Mt. Gox as an institution took 4 years, so they're anticipating this one to take just as long.

So we've got 4-6 years before the trustee can touch the remaining BTC.
