buy low sell high. it sounds stupid but i doubt you actually practice it. stop thinking in terms of $, think in terms of %. you probably haven't put a whole lot of money into this if you're inexperienced with trading so you probably hold your positions too long trying to double your money and then desperately try to jump in on something that looks like its going up, only to buy the peak on that one. trade smart and little by little a 2% gain being 20 bucks will be worth 200
