I've seen thousands of stop hunts in forex, a tell-tale sign is OBV and A/D divergence with a sudden change in volume which stops past the previous candle wick.
I've never seen this in btc, mostly because institutions really don't care, they already have a quadrillion derivative market to play around with, no one cares about crypto, its a fucking peanut gallery.
