So im looking to start a new business in fabrication. Specifically for custom motorcycle parts. Im planning to start with a few larger 3d printers for fairings and small parts and save until i can afford some cnc milling machines and move onto larger projects.

My question for you guys is should i make it an S corp or LLC? Also how much money should i be making yearly before i consider getting a loan for a larger piece of manufacturing equipment which can cost well over 150,000 usd.

Bro as somebody that has been riding 10 years, you're not going to make it. China and Japan rule this market and literally have factories of slave children to pump out fairings and any other motorcycle part a rider would need.

I would advise starting up in a fablab (you can probably find one with good 3D printers) to test the market. If you actually get customers for your fairings and gather a small reputation in the field, you'll be able to get enough credibility for this, technical knowledge in 3D printing and probably get to know a network of retailers who will sell your shit.

If you do it on a loan, you will get rekt.

Try buying a titanium 3d printer 1 unit and start out of your garage.

What cost to you do you expect to produce a set of fairings for a ninja300?
