How does the price going up from market speculation help crypto win again?
Wouldn't winning be making the technology more accessible, creating incentive for more merchants to adopt crypto and encouraging people to spend it at those merchants instead of holding on to it until they retire?

I just want to convert it to Fiat, I don't care if this shit dies.

You could say that price going up means the developer's funds are worth more, giving them access to more resources to improve the quality of development. Can't focus on programming if you're worried about money.

There's lots of different fundraising options: issuing stock, bonds, taking out a loan, etc. Selling tokens has been the most effective fundraising method lately.

Crypto has been around for a decade now.
I went to the grocery store yesterday. It seems there was still no option for crypto at the checkout machine.
