I will never understand how anyone invested in the ICO after the founder got exposed doing that.

Literally the only reason the DADI ico got any buzz was because the founder had recently joined the RaiBlocks team. That's it. That was his "credibility". This was one of those obvious "won't end well" scams like BitConnect, where anyone with a brain could see how sketchy it was from a fucking mile away.
