I don't know why so many people believe this. The average person may know bitcoin yes but they have no idea what it is let alone know about any other forms of cryptocurreny. They only know that it was worth a lot and now it's not worth as much. They have no idea where to buy it or that you can trade it for other coins on exchanges. They don't know these crypto exchanges are superior to regular stock exchanges due to 24/7 access. They don't even know what shorting is on their nations stock exchange. When this article gets published every single wannabe millionaire will jump ship from their held stock on the stock exchange and move it into crypto instead. Mark my words we are nowhere near mainstream adoption yet.

This whole board has the weirdest confirmation bias when it comes to this. They thenselves get Intk crypto then can't help but talk to their family about thier "cool new thing". Suddenly after hearing about the profits made the direct family puts a couple of dollar into bitcoin or ether. That then apparently translates to the constant remarks of "everyone knows about cryptocurrency, peak mainstream saturation has been reached".
