The economy was literally too good for the stock market.

What won Trump the election was the rust belt middle class vote, and their economy is improving. The stock market money that only exists on computer screens for the already wealthy has no impact on them.

that's just incorrect. A stock market crash effects literally everything

The economy improved in '17 thanks to Obama's policies, not Trump. He didn't do shit.

Tell me, did Obama sign the tax bill? It's the root cause of what's happening.

I'm decently conservative, but I think you have to realize the market went up with positive sentiment and speculation on Trump's election that deregulation and corporate tax cuts would be coming, obviously it wasn't sustainable but this year's huge gains are definitely indicative of people knowing corporations were gonna get hookups.

if he didn't want to get blamed about stocks crashing maybe he shouldn't have claimed he was responsible for the mooning

the correction is good. Long term prosperity will follow if Trump doesn't panic and lets it play out. Regan let the recession induced by Carter play out and it worked out for him. Reagan's popularity was very low during the recession but afterwards he won a landslide victory in the next election.
