Can I get a job in today's market with an AA in CompSci? I'm actually a decent programmer but I don't have any accreditation

I'll give you a job sucking my balls?

No thanks, anon

I hear you don't pay well

For people trying to get a job at my workplace, degree is irrelevant if you can actually code.

However, AA degree screams weirdo so probably don't even mention that.

What do they use as proof that you can actually code though?

They ask you questions about programming and shit in general. Example: what would be the best sorting algorithm for sorting a million numbers?

>> No.7301847

>>7301628
They'll ask you to do simple stuff like implementing one of the common sorting algorithms on the white board.

Depends where you live, but probably yes.

I had no degree whatsoever in programming but worked in the field nonetheless for about 18 yrs. I'm retired now.
