I work at Starbucks and make 13/hr. I’m also a student at community college but I am finally about to transfer.

I'm working in an IT company as a business analyst creating software for energy sector. we have two working systems but only old deployments.. my boss is 58 old lady, who is great, awsome buisness analyst but she suck at spreading our system and mentoring. all the time talkin about retirment. main boss of the company is focused on the other solution which i fuckin hate and im made to test it. they want to put me into help desk (fuck off, not gonn happen) im kind of doing nothing. any attempt i do to sell our system is criticisied and we have a shitstorm about how i've wrongly choosed a line in a word tab.. huge possibilities but i got no mentor, no team to move forward together.. and latly ive felt in a love with an old friend.. meaby moving to aussie than NZ and than rest of the world.. i've once travelled around the word (worked in china as skiing instructor) so i'm tempted to do it again as fuck..actualy building investing portfoilio (10k$ which i ve spread during the dip into 6-7 1mln cap coins) ive found a nice trading bot with dynamic community.. building a mining rig with my brother.. so i can travel with a nice girl around the fuckn world.

When can we start doing micro cap icos for real businesses?

I'd like to build a fighter jet, I found some old jet engines on eBay and they're very cheap - roughly 30k and then it's a matter of building the airframe.

I'd get a local fabrication company to make that, and then use modern drone software for flight stabilisation and auto pilot.

It'd cost like 50k and jet fuel (kerosene mixed with oil) can be diyed, it's already pretty cheap though. I like to pretend this can be funded via ico and then I can build more and sell them, maybe one day..

Office cuck here, I have one of those "comfy" job where 90% of the time I do nothing but 4chan/browsing (writing from office right now).
I work 8h, 5 days a week. I hate being here for 8 hours and having to wake up early, but what makes me hate the job are the few hours when I actually work: everything/everyone is a mess and super disorganized, our management software is shit and the database is full of wrong entries which makes doing shit hard and extremely time consuming (it's also not possible to fix it now since they never bothered doing a proper inventory).
One of the owner is legit retarded, requests things that are impossible because I don't have the right data, while giving no fucks about people not updating our database correctly.
I really want to quit, I'm waiting until next christmas for the bonus and if I get lucky with crypto I'm going to leave this shithole and look for a part time, actually comfy job while using my crypto gains to invest.
I was thinking about buying a couple of cheap apartments, I live in a relatively huge university city (not huge enough to be completely overpriced) and I could easily rent them to 3-4 students each

And I honestly prefer to have more work than none, just not balls-to-the-wall running around trying to get 6 things done at once.
And most of the people are easy to work with.
Just wish I was paid a bit more, but I've only been working for a year and a half out of uni and cost of living isn't bad so it's not terrible.

The ONLY good part about my job is the pay. When you work in stressful jobs like this, you realize the high pay isn't about how much intelligence is required to do the job. It's about the fact that if the job paid any lower, nobody would do it.

I wouldnt mind the position itself since it's good work and I love my coworkers. Pays pretty bad though.
During the "rant about your job" sessions with inner group of friends, I always manage to turn everyone's faces grim when I go into the nutso boss stories and they see just how good they have it.
Crypto gives me hope but I'm still looking for new work and haven't found anything in over a year of searching. Though I'm trying to move west so companies are less inclined to hire those out of state.
Gotten better at finding peace in the meantime to aid my sanity dealing with the stress at least.

I basically grew up really, ridiculously poor (drunk parents on welfare in public housing type poor), my 3 siblings all dropped out of school between ages of 14-17, I managed to finish high school. Obviously not an academic family, no push for college, I wanted to go to college but parents basically said "no you have to go get a job and start paying rent or you're out on your ass!!!!" and being a 17 year old kid at the time not knowing how to live on my own or survive "out on my ass" I basically just complied, went and got manual labor job.

Ended up moving out of parents house within about a year of that, but moved in with girlfriend. We both worked low skill, low pay jobs, content being plebs. Basically did that for 8 years or so, now here I am almost 27 years old, no education, no skill, and where my "dream" is to just have what someone like you already has but hates, a generic office job or something more comfy, instead of doing shit manual labor in stinky, smelly, dangerous, wet, dirty environments taking shit from disgusting managers and mentally deficient coworkers.

There's literally no light at the end of the tunnel because even if I 'move up' to a better, safer, cleaner position, I see guys like you everywhere saying how miserable and soul-crushing office work is anyway.

I worked 6 years in a mediocre videogame company. We did Fallout Shelter and stuff (not Bethesda).

I really hated how they managed projects, it was always a pain in the ass to stick to short budgets trying to fit all the false promises made to the client. Quality was always reduced to stay in deadlines, and when it fucked up, we got shitty extensions to fix all the fuck ups, which was again poorly estimated, so most of the people ended up crunching to deliver incomplete stuff.

In the end, it was super stressful.
they closed our studio back in november, and I'm so happy to be doing NOTHING for a while. I discovered Day trading and have been studying since then.

I indeed have a more than decent Artistic talent, but if I can really get to perfect my trading skills, I wouldn't ever think of going back to videogames ever in life.

$20 an hour as a CNC operator. Pretty low stress, although machining the same parts over and over bores me to death sometimes. The plan is to finish my degree and move to engineering. I don't really hate this job, but that's probably because its so much better than my last job as a lawn fertilizer technician. I 10/10 hated that job.

Work on parents farm, I get $700/month + food and shelter. Pros; I don't have to commute anywhere and I can plan up the day somewhat as I want, it's extremely varied and interesting Cons; no days off, ever, during stressed out periods allnighters are typically needed, it's dirty and taxing as hell with monthly injuries for utter shit pay

I was GM and stepped down. I don't mind the customers. I don't mind the hours (anything less than 60 and I feel like I'm wasting my life). I don't mind speaking Spanish all day to 3rd world immigrants. I don't mind the stress. But Jesus fucking Christ almighty the owner is unbearable. I had the best AM ever. First time in the restaurants history that both managers were fluent in English. We started fixing everything. Delivery services were no longer an hour wait on Fridays for houses across the street. Turnover rate was down. Training actually happened for new employees. We stopped delivering to goddamn China for a small pepperoni pizza.

And we got in so much trouble we almost got fired. Literally, just because the owner "didn't like that shit" buddy.

Now I'm an alcoholic and I'm using the shutdown of one restaurant for renovations to get certified and I'm fucking done with this horseshit.

Engineering environment, lead a small team of people and work autonomously. No worries or eyes over my shoulder unless I fail to produce results. Just starting out, around 85k no overtime.
