I'll start. I had to call sick today because literally the idea of going to work makes me sick

My gf who I lived with broke up with me 1½ week ago. Didn't go to work last week. Went to see a psychiatrist and got a clear that I should only work 50% this week. I was at work on monday and later that evening I found out she had been sleeping with her best friend this weekend, who she had reassured me during all the time we were together that he was "just a friend, like a brother to me, you have nothing to worry about". She was here picking some stuff up on sunday and lied straight to my face when I asked her if she had slept with him. She told me over the phone on monday and I threw all her stuff out of the apartment, then went and got stupid drunk with a friend. Haven't been to work yesterday or today.

Can't bring myself to go to that soul-crushing place when I'm already crushed more than I've ever been before. I work as IT-support/technician and I can't fucking bring myself to talk to people all day and act all nice and shit. I'll probably try to get a longer sick leave from the psych who I'm seeing again tomorrow and try find a new job meanwhile for some fresh new start. And I'll be praying to the cryptogods that my shit will moon soon.

Took a year of school off to move back home and help my mom. She is in deep depression. I have office work in a small firm, it's the two owners, me and two technicians.
The owners are always either out of the office or up their own ass (both of them are involved in other enterprises) and they usually have no idea what's going on with work and no time to explains us how they want things to be done, except getting pissy when things aren't done the way they want them.
They almost never talk to each other so when they give us instructions they often end up contraddicting each other, but even then they would aks us to ask the other owner instead of talking directly. Kinda like they were a diverced couple and us the children.
One of them is always out for a way to overprice and generally fuck over their clients and providers both, and also when clients call requesting a service he always seems to have his head up his own ass and ignore them.
Tehy ask us to do a lot of unpaid work. When I started they asked me to pull 8 hours a day and be paid only for 4 under the pretense of "training" for which they never showed up. I only accepted because at the time I was desperate for a job and they knew it. Joke's on them, I often spent whole afternoons browsing 4chan and porn with their wifi.
I hate this job so fucking much. Thjey really did show me how low office slaving can be. Once I get to lamboland I'll leave them with no regrets, and good luck finding another cuck as patient as I am with them.

Build up a competing company using the time your not working. Then use your knowledge of their fucked over customers to get a leg up and eat their whole operation from the gound up. Fuck I bet you could even hire the techs if they were good and you gave them a small raise/extra perks, 5% more money and more perks/respect would do wonders for employee poaching.

It's really not so easy, we work in a field (photovoltaic installations / manufacturing) where there's not really that much demand in Italy, and even less in our small town. They were lucky they could get to where they are.
They are also trusted by the customers (they don't have the inside scoop like I do) so I doubt I could steal them away or that they would trust me over them.
Also I personally dislike the idea of actively trying to kill them and fuck their corpses in that way.

I'm an indie game dev in my free time, dropped out of college where I was racking up debt for a useless degree to do it. We've been working on our current title for about three years and are aiming for a ship date in late Spring. It's not even about the money to me, I just want the credentials and the ability to really feel like a developer.

If things seem profitable me and my buddy might expand our little operation a bit and continue working together. I'd prefer that, we've been friends for a decade now, but if that doesn't pan out at least I'll have the qualifications to apply for entry level design positions at a mid size game studio.

To be honest all I really want out of crypto is enough to live off of while I work on the game. I don't expect to become a millionaire overnight, I just want to carve out a little bit of happiness for myself and spread it to my friends and family. My Dad has done so much for me... it kills me not being able to repay his kindness.

Work on a tugboat several weeks on equal time off. Pay is decent though not really worth half my life. 401k matching and not being crippled by health insurance costs but it's getting old missing weddings funerals and holidays. No sick time no vacation if you want time off its up to you to get it covered. The work isn't back breaking but when you do need to work you hustle. I do alot of sitting around watching candles lately. 2 million after taxes I think I can retire. Pay off my house buy another income property and live off passive income. My job is easy and it doesn't take alot of time, but I have started to hate it. My boss has said recently that he basically owns me for the entire work day. I was infuriated, but didn't show it, and now I want to quit. Even though I do nothing all day, the pay is criminally low: 400 USD a month (decent jobs are 700 and up here). I am living with my parents who are always angry. I can't get a gf/bf because of that. I am not developing as a person.
Hate is growing by the day, I'm having intrusive thoughts and stress. I started drinking, even though the premise was the celebration. I am on the verge of quitting: I just want to apply for another job and wait for confirmation (will happen in about a week). But, to be honest, I want to stop working for a year.

I work in a high-end fast food. It can be pretty terrible, but I do enjoy all my coworkers. In addition, the owners and managers pull their own weight and don't sit in the office for hours on end like I always hear or read. They're extremely lenient and will work around students' schedules.

Trying to find a lab tech position somewhere to start a career, but I'd be content with retirement if I made it big in crypto. Here's to Coinmetro mooning.

Cannot bring myself to live in said town, so I have a 54 mile commute oneway to get to work. I get paid 45k a year, which is decent, I told them if I got paid less I would not stay. In short, everything is falling to shit. The owners are incompetent, I know more than they do 1000%. One particular owner is driving this shit into the ground. They're trying to expand but they don't have their shit straight. Now they're overstretched and have to get this new retail location going in order to pay their debt. Big fucking gamble. Meanwhile there is absolutely no order. I tell them again and again about schedules, assigning managers/accountability, etc. They just let the shit drop on their employees. They don't even fucking realize. I faked 1 year of plant recs. and 1/2 year of inventory recs because the person before me didn't do shit. I shouldn't have to be doing that shit. I shouldn't feel like the fate of everyone there falls on my fucking shoulders. The day before the state inspection I was about to fucking cry I swear. We ended up passing, not a single deficiency cited with inventory. Okay great now fucking what? More of this shit??? Sometimes I feel I would rather go work an office job and just be a drone and not think about any of this shit. The new extraction guy is always high off his fucking ass on pills, incompetent as fuck, riding the clock, and he truly freaks me the fuck out. Very unstable kid, coddled by parents, and would probably shank me out of emotional instability. And the GM doesn't have the balls to fucking do it. Vanguard's site claims that average returns on a 50-50 stock-bond portfolio are around 8%. I figure half for inflation and half for living expenses plus I can work when I feel like it.

I studied CS and really wanted to become a theoretical CS researcher (partially because I liked it, but mostly because I've worked regular wageslave jobs before and they suck so hard and I figured people were less likely to shill at university). I got really into pumping up my grades and getting research XP during my undergrad, then got into my top grad school only to hate the city I moved into. It's the first time I ever moved out and it sucked I couldn't sleep 5/7 days a week (which makes studying effectively pure math really really difficult) and the only thing keeping me going was a steady dose of benzos. Eventually I said fuck it and withdrew, so at least I'm sleeping fine again. I'm teaching part time at a community college now, and it's not so bad (yet) compared to other jobs I've had since the hours are low and the pay rate's good, but obviously I wish I could just quit wageslaving altogether. Waking up every morning knowing I have work puts a huge weight on my entire day
