Bitcoin at $100k requires $5 billion per year, just to maintain its price.
It also makes it profitable for miners to use over 5% of the total energy consumption. Obviously, this would cause problems. A ban on mining BTC? A mining tax? A trading ban? Etc.
$100k is not going to happen before the next halvening, heck, not before the next two halvenings.
We might hit 30-40k this year and then it's going to crash and take the whole market with it.
