I can definitely see a basement hacker figuring out useful data to put on an oracle, but most will be in the hands of big corps.

Which points out my initial reservations about the token about companies choosing what they distribute through API's and making it free or very cheap anyway.

It's important chainlink has their backend working before they start creating things like APIS ( things like api's that query the backend are literally tiny in comparison and could be made in hours) technically I could write my own API that just sends POST data to chainlink HTTP server if I wanted to, it's really not a priority but once backend is finished they will create things like a user integration API but why would they make one now when the back end isnt finished that sounds like a headache to maintain.
