Seriously, all the success stories I read are either extremely lucky people who forgot they had 100 BTC or something, or it's completely anonymous without any proof.

You buy good solid fucking projects and hold. You don't buy 12 you pick 3-4 solid fucking coins. You buy every month as much as you can. You hold for years. Projects you think will obviously be around in 3-5 years. You could get lucky chasing shitcoin 120% pump n dumps but it's not sustainable. You do this and you might wake up with more than you ever imagined. We still have a long way to go. It might not be super early but you there's still gains to be made. I haven't made millions but it wouldn't have been difficult in the past 2 years of trading. I bought ETH at $8 and held. A few of my friends bought BTC at $30 before I even started.

Here's the other part of it:
we probably all bragged about seeing our coin values shoot up 10X the first time. and that usually means a few thousand, maybe 50k at the most. but after a while there's no thrill to it anymore, and once you reach a certain value it's just numbers. i can afford whatever i want, but i wasn't living poorly before either. it doesn't mean anything to brag, and asking for attention IRL is just a stupid thing to do.

Most people I know have made around $100,000. One guy I know who started investing in 2015 made $500,000.

Unless you were incredibly lucky with D&P groups there's no way anyone here has made 1 million, unless they bought up like 50 BTC when they were $30 each in 2014.

Believe me when I say MOST people here have lost money, especially with the market atm.

I know one of my friends bought ~10-20 of ETH at $250 and somehow held it till now instead of switching to BTC, so he probably has made ~15k.

The guy who sits next to me at work started with roughly the same amount as me in BTC (back when China banned it) but he held strong while I was a dumbass and tried to trade it up and down, so I know he has made like ~$15k in profit.

It's easy to get bummed out over things like not buying BNB, but the risk profile is just too high, I wouldn't be able to throw 5k into an alt coin that honestly I don't really know what it does.

What I made is the maximum possible amount I could after dumping what was left of my savings at $2k (when I learned about this), trading it to get 3x my stack, then selling it at $19k quite close to the top.
There’s only so much to be made even with 800% gains. If you had basically nothing to put in, you didn’t get much out either, unless you were one of the penny buyers who somehow held out for these prices but I doubt anyone actually did unless they forgot the coins.
