The FUD shit is tiresome. The coin's 3x since its release on Kucoin. It got to 6x, then went back to 3x, where it's being clearly artificially suppressed. It's not just DBC, either. If you go to quite a few other threads you'll see people doing the same thing. If I had to guess, it's probably because it's easier to extract money/tokens from people who started to FOMO in at the end of December. That, along with the "bad news" about South Korea and the lowering of Bitcoin, all mean that whales get to shake normies out of MULTIPLE coins they probably experimented in, DBC being one of them.

Why would they artificially suppress the values, though, and put up such huge buy and sell walls? Answer, create more FOMO. Once the price of these coins rise, either because of a lack of suppression or through pumps, the people who bought at ATH and sold at lows will rush back in to reclaim a weaker position. After the rise, they can then dump again on everyone FOMOing back in.

This is going to be a reoccurring thing for DBC until February 16th or earlier when some kind of announcement is planned between DBC and a formerly partnered company. It's also possible that whales are accumulating specifically for that announcement and the rise to 60 cents was to extract ETH for that but I doubt it.

tl;dr, you're an idiot for selling now. If you didn't sell at 60 cents, just hold. This is why you only invest what you can afford to lose.
