Is this the beginning of the next bear market? I haven't been around for long, so I wouldn't know how the last ones started, but this constant cycle of market dips and slight recoveries has been going on for multiple days now. Every time it dips the market cap drops by 50 billion or more, and then slowly climbs back up - but not as high as before. And then it just collapses again.

Is this how bear markets start? I haven't seen something like this happen since I started in November. After a dip there was always a recovery and then some time until the next dip. But now the dips are becoming so frequent that there's no breathing room anymore. If this continues the market will probably turn bear, won't it?

I didn't sell anything, but there's been a constant downtrend for a week now.

Remembering some anon predicting a bear market just before the second half of December.

That went well

But there were no signs during that time. There was just a small correction that lasted 1-2 days. Not a constant bleeding over a week that doesn't seem to stop anytime soon.
Also I'm not predicting anything, I'm just asking how the last ones started.

What are you holding? It feels like you're confusing your portfolio for market performance.
