Decided to share the research I've done. My conclusions are that the following claims are totally false, read what I've attached and draw your own conclusions:

>APIs are not that valuable
Wrong, research consistently shows that API value is not tied directly to the API calls but tied more to how API interconnectivity and openness can expand business laterally and between sectors.

>Banks/corporations will not use a third party API network
Wrong, a lot of research has gone in to developing a third party standardised network for API data. Many corporations and banks explicitly desire to leverage the free market to evaluate the value of their API data optimally with minimal research on their part.

>The security needs for APIs are not high enough to warrant LINKs measures
Banks plan to expand their use of APIs a great deal going forward and security measures are their NUMBER ONE concerns, not just due to practical problems but due to possible damage to brand image when security measures fail

There are more claims about LINK that my research disproves but it's late and I can't remember them.
