Alright guys, I've got a question for you. Is it possible for someone to make a decent amount of money starting with extremely little?

Lets think of a scenario, I'm 18 years old, Australian, and I have $500 dollars sitting in front of me, what do I put this into, is this even enough to put into something, or do I have to save up big bucks before looking to throw my money at something ? Is purchasing Bullion the go? Could someone explain that concept to me? Thanks in advance guys, sorry for being so new.

you can turn money into something on its own.

money x nothing = nothing

money x experience = more money

money x skills/knowledge = more money

simple maths, you have to operate on the money with something in order to create something else. if you see what im driving at.

Go spend it on booze and prostitutes now you're of legal age. $500 isnt worth a pinch of shit for investment.

>> No.622857

$500 is barely any money, work on finding a good means of getting income first. Also at this point just work on saving money and keeping it in cash. Once you have a decent amount of cash saved and still have income coming in you can start thinking about investing it.

Fellow young Ausfag here, I agree with >>622851, Getting a qualification from tafe course costs you absolutely nothing up front but make a world of difference job prospect wise. If 6 months is too long for some reason, investing in an RSA or Approved managers puts you instantly ahead of the competition especially at 18 years of age and takes a few hours to complete.

Otherwise with $500 dollars you can start growing/selling weed or slinging pills assuming you're not a complete burnout and can't resist consuming all your product.

sorry, that should have been 'can't turn money into something on its own'

>>622861
Just because you're too stupid to understand the concept, doesn't make it wrong, anon.

OP, investing is not the right call for your $500. Any return on an investment of that size will be sweet FA. That being said, if you were to buy a website from flippa, for example, you could build it into a nice little money spinner, and gain a lot of experience at the same time.

Or you could build a twitter, and post affiliate links. The internet allows anyone to make anything with only a few dollars. A friend of mine bought a lawnmower for $200, posted an ad on gumtree, and now he's got a lawnmowing route.

>>622861
Or you could listen to this guy, go get yourself a winning RSA qual (or learn to unclog feces for a living at tafe) and spend the rest of your life working for someone else's profit.

your call, OP. Good luck.

>working for someone else's profit.
ding ding ding, someone doesn't know how economy works.

we don't need more dumbasses filling up commerical means and cluttering up google searches with "buyalawnmowertoday.com"

this is why /biz/ is full of fucking kids.

>wahh working for someone else's profits is BAD
microsoft sells software (their skills) that makes businesses profit from it ( someone else making profit)

go to tafe and get SKILLED. you need SKILLS to be able to "run with the pack."

become XYZ, security technician, whatever. then instead of selling dumb lawnmowers you sell your *skills*

you can run your own contracting business, go around fixing security systems (security technician), get loads of money.

is utter fucking retarded.
how do you expect to get skills/experience?
this dumb fucking circular link just shows you have no fucking idea what you're on about. you're probably mad you didnt get into a trade yourself.
>hurr twitter and affiliate links thats where all the money is.
don't fuck over some kid's life because you're a cunt.
