First I'd contact a publisher, let a ghost writer write some sort of autobiography.

as for why he hasn't monetized... well he's not fucking stupid, so i assume he has in fact monetized. it's so ridiculously easy to make money if you have shitloads of traffic you can channel towards people. it'd be so easy to create a second site, coat it with ads, then link it here frequently... and not be banned for spamming, because well, god can't be banned. it's one of a million ways in which he could make money on the sly, and i think after over a decade of having huge amounts of traffic, he inevitably must have at some point. go see how much google charges per 100k uniques sent, now go look at 4chan's traffic stats. my biggest sites had 7k uniques a day, now 15ish years ago and 13 years since they were taken down, and i still get cheques from adultfriendfinder amongst others.

I'm a regular user in /g/, and we /g/ users have noticed that /g/ is, in practice, a mixed consumer/technology board. I would have created a new /consumer/ board and told people to go there and ask for suggestions (not just for technology stuff, but for anything: clothes, movies, whatever). how to monetize this? give them affiliate links somehow. like, have people working dedicated to giving suggestions or something, or adding your affiliate ID to every amazon link, or simply asking users to voluntarily following a link so that the cookies would get set and they would be giving money to 4chan, and so on.
