Let's take a macro look at things for moment when it comes to economy and crypto currency.

-2007 to 2010 the sub prime mortgage crisis hit the US really hard
-This contributed to recession between December 2007 – June 2009
- Also during 2008 Congress passes the bailout for the major banks
-January 2009 the Bitcoin network comes online and the first transactions goes through
-July 2010 3rd version of bitcoin is released
-2011 Bitcoin reaches parody with the US dollar.
-2014 Global Advisor Bitcoin Investment Fund worlds first regulated investment fund
- 2015 NYSE minority investor in Coinbase 75 million dollars.
- 2016 Donald Trump becomes president and Bitcoin saw a 5% increase in just 24hr
- 2017 Multiple ICO coming to market to the point where China bans ICO due to multiple reasons

And that brings us to 2018, now the US market has been on bull run of the last what 7-8 years. Which means we're coming up on the economics cycle where things start to pull back and with that tide moving out, I'm wondering what within the crypto will be the deciding factor that will make investors want to hold out the storm through to until the next cycle or even just to see who remain through fiscal Darwinism. Trying to keep out of mind as much speculation as possible, thinking all coins just being $1 in cost and all with an equally balanced market cap, what among would still be utilized due to their function at heart when the wells dry up.

But think bout it. The way I look at it, one possible way in order for the market to survive during an economic pull back would be if we we able to actually get an approved for the ETF of the cryptomarket which could bring with it common everyday investors that may want the exposure to cryptos while having the slightly more reasonable format of at stock.

And to bring crypto money back into the stock market during down time. Inverse ETF could be made to also entire crypo trade to invest and make money when the market is low and filling their need for something a little bit on the shorter time scale but without being drawn over decades, just look at the rise in inverse ETF stocks in during the 07-08 crisis.

reminder that this was mostly due to leftist policies that forced banks to rent to bad-credit niggers

As soon as the whole tether scandal blows up there won't be anymore big money in crypto until there's another functioning, used product that comes out. Crypto needs another crash in order for more meaningful work to be done, and in order to go back to its roots.

Are you trying to say that more crypto derivatives will save crypto if it were to bust? That seems completely backwards desu.

You know there's another half to the equation you are conveniently leaving out, unless you're telling me those communities were the one's that pushed out all those CDO's?

And we could very well see something to that effect happen again. You already hear regularly on this very board people wanting to take out loans to put into Bitcoin and cryptos. We are at Market Cap: $755b with 24h Vol: north of $67b. So far that just the play money some NEET hustled up and a few companies pulling together, but the moment you start putting in massive loans, even mortgages into this things with "promise returns" what's to say same can't happen again in a manner of speaking?

Erm, no - Don't let that happen. re-mortgages and loans to buy cryptos is insanity.

>more normie money pls. i'll be a millionaire
And when it pops the normies end up welfare en-masse, and then regulation and tax crackdown on cryptos.

Pink Wojaks everywhere, funeral business moons.

But then how can we save the system, if not for what crypto is supposed to be, then to make money long term.

You're pretty much killing the goose that lays golden eggs here.

Taxation and auditing, in the western world, is a bit more in depth than that.

>>5894154
I'll bite.

All you need to do is put fiat into an 'account', doesn't have to be a bank. As for banning ICO on exchanges, it's pretty relevant if the exchange or trading platform wishes to keep it's license.

As for XMR, if you decide to launder it, that fiat has to go somewhere first ...

;-P
