Is Bitcoin Gold worth going all in on? Will it pump to $3k each the way that Bitcoin Cash did?

>> No.5877959

No.
It's very unlikely to hit Coinbase.

Dude, no.

A Korean guy with like 600 BTC recently told me to buy BTG. He said something like, "not immediately, but it is going to go up a lot." I don't know why Koreans love this shit, but I sold mine at like 4x its current price and I sincerely doubt it will ever go back there. Who knows.

>> No.5878587

It's a shitcoin, I had like 50 and sold them when it mooned for a bit.

yeah the only reason why this coin is afloat is because of the Koreans, check out coinmarketcap.. some Koreans buying this shit at ~$600 USD (when converting their currency).. Not sure why but they really like the fact that it is more "decentralized" and cant be mined by ASICs

They are releasing the roadmap this month... Which they havent done since the fork. I would expect it to rise when that comes out.

No. I guess I still have a shitload of BTG if forked the BTC chain, but they're meaningless.

Look at it from a developer perspective: you do not want to push changes directly into master. You do not want to test changes directly in production.

Bitcoin is production

These forks are literally forks. Rogue forks at the moment with ideas non consensual to the majority of bitcoin so far.

Whatever these alt-chains offer, if it proves to be viable it will be adopted into bitcoin eventually. (A merge to Master) and the alt-chain will die. If the idea it proves to be non-viable the alt-chain will die as well.

They're basically test servers to play on. If you're into day-trading you can hope one of these ideas will moon and you cash out before the drop, but if you're looking to HODL, HODL BTC

if you have a shitload then you have a shitload of value and that is hardly meaningless, at least peel it out of your wallet and buy btc with it.

I did that with BCH when it peaked to about 4k last month.

This BTG shitcoin is still just hovering around $300. If there's any viability to this fork it'll go up a bunch more. If it dies I'm willing to take the loss

Enjoy holding dead fork bags

bitcoin is already gold

no need to buy fake gold

This
Forget about fundamentals, market is retarded and this shit is going to moon sooner or later, just because it's a fork and has Bitcoin in its name.

bitcoin are not gold.

gold is a stupid ancient system. Just rare rocks that jews trade around for digitized paper... The old-world system we somehow inherited. egos of savages.

Will coinbase ever credit holders?

not me, my btc is on a ledger cause i'm never selling.

I just split my bch yesterday(never selling) and you can access the BTG now as well(also holding).

the main reason, if i were leaving btc on an exchange, i would bittrex because they have committed to supporting every fork.
