Robinhood is now offering an uncapped 3% cash back card. Has anyone here gotten this card yet? This is the highest all-category card that I am aware of. I'm not familiar with the issuing bank (Coastal Community Bank), does anyone here have any past experience with them? I'm wondering how tolerant they will be of manufactured spending type activities.

Also, it is rumored that you will be able to deposit the cash back directly into a Roth IRA (coded as a bonus). This gives an additional tax benefit on top of the 3%.

The fee is worth it though. You get a higher cash back rate. Even someone with a minimum wage job would come out ahead with the higher cash back rate.

Yeah but those things are a small percent of your total spending. At 3% it makes sense to use a credit card for your mortgage or monthly rent. That won't work with the cards you listed.

Yeah im not ever coming back to robin hood, when the jeets scam you, at least you know already that they're jeets and there's a chance that they will take all your money, that's why its called gambling. But Shitting Hood is supposedly a "serious" platform that had no qualms taking away all my money without facing any legal repercussions. If i were to go only from experience, my pajamas never scammed me and thats a shitcoin on fucking solana

I'm already reward maxed by having a shit ton of credit cards. the only thing i don't get 5% back from is my utilities and i use a 2% card for that. That bill averages to 150 a month so 2% gets me 3 bucks back but the 3% and 5 dollar monthly would only net me 50 cents

this. kicker is you have to join robinhood gold for $50 a year LMAO not! haters are still jealous that i own the most based credit card, the Citi Double Cash card with zero caps fr fr. I could use it anywhere, purchase something, i get 1% in return. pay it back, another 1%, that's 2% total, no annual fee, credits instantly the moment you hit the pay button even if you're overdrawn at the bank lol or if you don't have enough money on your card to fill your gas tank, this card got your back and won't reject you like some poor creditfag's card LMAO

Why are you bragging about getting less cash back, my math challenged friend? The point where the cash back would be equal between the cards is $416.65. I'd say that most people spend more than that on their cards. The Robinhood card is a good deal if you spend over $416/month.

One last thing. Robinhood Gold gives you $1000 of free margin you can use to hold a government bond fund which will net you more than $50/year (tax-free)

>> No.58469813

The Bilt card lets you pay rent directly, but the cash back rate is mid.

You can pay rent with any CC if your landlord uses a payment portal that accepts it. There are also services like chexy.co that will send a check to your landlord from a credit card payment (the small fee is much less that the cash back generated).

It's probably worth the hassle if you take Robinhood gold and use the benefits fully. I moved my IRA over to Robinhood for the 3% bonus on contributions. Seemed like a no brainer to me.

bottom line. i don't like to be rushed to spend. i like to be given a choice. for instance, i could buy merely a handful of things with my 2% cash back for the entire year, which means i still get 2% cash back regardless of how much or less i use the card. fuck being pressured into spending kikebux
