>Apply to a competitor's job opening
>Tell them about my experience at my current job
>One of the manager starts talking about how they're a more strict company and harder to work for
>Tell him okay and he quiets down the rest of the interview

Do wagies actually care how their company compares to their competitors? It's not like they're getting extra for just doing their job

Business owners have had so much power in America for so long they expect you to grovel at this point.

>business owners
you mean HR roasties and the managerial class (women)?
something that only exists because of the civil rights act and the like?

This wasn't business owners. It was for a corporation and they were just middle management. I get you take your job seriously but god damn outside of scheduling you're pretty much dispensable

>hard to work here
I do interviews and always say this to zoomers to gauge their reaction. Usually their facial expression will betray their hidden expectation to have an easy job. Especially if they're white. Honetly Asians and sometimes pajeets are the only under 30 who are willing to work.

There's no way they thought I am under 30 just from my work experience

why when you give a person a little power they automatically start making the worst decisions possible? it's hilarious, and then there are people like me who have no power and are mostly glued to a dexview chart waiting for some shit to go up.

Middle management are essentially fluffers of the C-suite. They have to believe dogmatically in the organization like brainwashed plebes, otherwise they literally would not be able to stomach the bullshit. They are losers who trade their time for a retarded title nobody cares about.

I was a VP for a while - not quite middle management but still exposed to the "monkey in the middle" nonsense politics. I have never taken another role like that because I couldn't stand it. You're best off just doing a "low level" job until you can escape with crypto/stocks/entrepreneurship/etc. These people are hopeless.

i've been quiet quitting since 3 years ago and found out that most bosses dont really care if you do your job exactly how they tell you and basically do the bare minimum to not get fired, my boss has seen me researching for idle rpgs (gravity labs) and doing stuff not related to the job like checking the AGRS charts or AMAs but since i had already finished my tasks for the day just acts like im not even there, at first he told me he was going to fire me but after he realized he can't replace me he just... lets me be
so become indispensable to the company and then they wont fire you even if you start quiet quitting like me
